ROOTED IN JAPAN. AT HOME IN TEXAS.

A small ramen bar.
A world of flavor.

RAKKAN began as a four-seat ramen bar in Nishiazabu, Tokyo, in 2011. Today, the same spirit of Japanese craft finds a home at our tables in Texas.

RAKKAN ingredients and Japanese food craft

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE

It starts
with dashi.

Dashi is a traditional Japanese soup stock. At RAKKAN, vegetables such as kombu are slowly simmered to bring out natural umami, the savory depth at the heart of our ramen.

Our stock is plant-based, with no meat or seafood in the broth. The finished bowl is your choice: classic toppings, vegan options, and a range of Japanese seasonings.
